The Mandatory Video setting controls whether the timeline slider on training videos is locked or unlocked. The timeline slider allows learners to skip through videos during a training session.
This setting can be applied globally or for individual courses, with individual course settings overriding global settings.
Note: We recommend avoiding the use of this feature and instead suggest setting a higher pass mark to encourage learners to stay engaged. Locking the timeline slider can make it more difficult for learners to revisit specific points in the video to reinforce or clarify their understanding.
