Custom email templates are used to create emails that can be sent to individuals, groups or all users in the LMS.

A step-by-step guide (text):
- Click the Settings tab in the side menu or the ⚙ Settings icon in the top-right corner.
- In the GENERAL section, click Messaging.
- Scroll down to the CUSTOM EMAIL TEMPLATES section and click +Add email template .
- In the Email template name box, type the name of your email, this name will be shown in the list of email templates.
- In the Email template subject box, type the subject line for the email.
- Before you start typing the template body, click on the Formatting and tags on the right. The pop-up window explains how you can add links, change the text into bold or italic font and shows how to use tags to substitute user information in your template. Note: All Custom email templates must include at least one required tag (the Atlas log-in link or button). - Type your text with formatting and tags into the Email template body box.
- Click Save changes.
Your new email template will be available immediately in the Send an email option in the User Management page.
FAQ
1. Where can I see my email templates?
To find a list of your templates go to Settings → General → Messaging → CUSTOM EMAIL TEMPLATES section. Here you have the option to Edit, Duplicate, Delete or Send templates to all users.
2. Do all admins have access to email templates?
Yes, email templates are created at the company level, not for individual users. All admins with the appropriate access rights can view, edit, and send the templates.
3. Can I automate the delivery of custom emails?
No, these emails should be sent out manually and cannot be added to the automated emails process.
