How to resolve assessment issues individually (TEXT instructions)
- Click the Assessments tab on the menu bar at the top of the page.
- Find an individual learner by filtering, see How to use filtering to find an assessment.
The progress bar for users who have fully completed their assessments will appear full.- Green Bar: Indicates there are no issues reported.
- Orange Bar: Indicates there are issues that require your attention.
- Click the Open button on the right of the learners details to show the assessment.
- To find questions, scroll down the assessment or click a topic link in the Outline to go to a topic.
- Read the issue and the learner's comments then choose an action:
- To add comments click Add a comment, then click Send. The comments are visible to the learner.
- To add an action click the Mark as arrow and select an action from the list:
- Resolved - the issue is resolved,
- Acceptable risk - risk level is determined by your employer's policies,
- Not applicable - this issue doesn't apply.
- Continue to scroll through the questions and resolve issues.
- Once all issues are resolved, the pop up will appear prompting you to complete the assessment. Make sure that you don't have any more changes to make and click Complete assessment.
- To exit, click the Exit button at the top of the page.

How to resolve assessment issues in bulk
If an assessment has more than one unresolved issue, you can apply one action and comment to all current unresolved issues. You can resolve assessment issues at any time until the assessment is completed.
To resolve assessment issues in bulk:
- Click the Assessments tab on the menu bar at the top of the page to show the Assessment management page.
- Find an individual learner by filtering, see How to use filtering to find an assessment.
- Click the Open button on the right of the learners details to show the assessment.
- Click the menu icon on the right of the Exit button.
- Select Mark all unresolved issues as… to show the pop up window and choose:
- Resolved - the issue is resolved,
- Acceptable risk - risk level is determined by your employer's policies,
- Not applicable - this issue doesn't apply.
- Add a comment to explain your action.
- Click Apply.
FAQ
1. How do I know if a learner has unresolved issues in their assessment?
The assessment Issues counter shows the current number of unresolved issues the learner has raised in the assessment.
2. How do I know which questions in the assessment require my attention?
Questions that need resolving are labelled with an alert symbol and An action is required text.
