Training Interval refers to the number of months expected between completing a course and repeating it. This feature is particularly useful for courses that need to be repeated regularly to maintain compliance, such as Fire Awareness courses. It can also be applied to courses intended to refresh learners' skills and ensure their knowledge remains up to date.
This setting can be applied globally or to individual courses, with individual course settings overriding global ones.
NB: The Training Interval value determines the expiry date of a learner’s completed course and, if configured, triggers a new session for the learner to refresh their knowledge or renew their certificate. For more details, see How to lock/unlock new sessions during a training interval.
