What is a classroom mode

"Classroom Training" mode is a blended-learning approach enabling you to gather staff into one area, whether that’s a portacabin or a boardroom, and have the group complete the training session under your watch.

This feature gives you access to both the test papers and answers, allowing tests to be completed once the session has finished. The results can then be imported and stored in your Learning Management System (LMS). To learn more, see Our Classroom Mode Training Feature | iHasco.

How to run a course in a classroom mode

Step 1. Before running a course

    1. Contact your account manager to get a trainer's license and test papers for a specific course.

A training license means that you are able to manually add results for specific users in the LMS.

Account manager will provide you with test papers and answers to then hand out to your users.

    2. Get a classroom ready for the training

  • Locate a room which you can use to provide ‘face to face’ classroom based training, ensuring that all participants can see the screen.
  • If using a projector or interactive white board check its connection to the device running Atlas.
  • Print out the test papers provided by your Account manager.

Step 2. Launch the course in a classroom mode

  1. Click Course library tab on the left-side menu.
  2. Go to My courses tab.
  3. Find the Course you wish to launch.
  4. Click Classroom mode.

The trainer controls the video player, and clicks through each section of the course.

Step 3. Run the test

Once the training course has finished, distribute the test papers. Once users submit their papers, it is the trainer's responsibility to check the answers and calculate the % score.

Step 4. Add the results to the LMS

Certificates cannot be issued without adding results to the LMS. As a trainer, refer to this guide for instructions How to add classroom results.

Step 5. Download/ print certificates

Refer to this guide for instructions  How to download/print all certificates for a course.
