How to set a course as active/inactive

For housekeeping purposes, it can be useful to set courses as inactive. For example, if a course is not being used for a while, marking it as inactive ensures it doesn’t appear in the active courses tab, keeping your LMS organised and focused on current training materials.

How to set a course(s) as active

  1. Click the Course Library tab in the side menu.
  2. Click My Courses on the tab bar, then select Inactive to show your inactive courses.
  3. Find the course by filtering, see How to use filtering to find a course.
  4. Click the check box on a course card to select individual courses or click Select all on the Action bar to select all inactive courses.
  5. Click Set selected courses as Active on the Action bar.


How to set a course(s) as inactive

        

Note Setting a course to inactive makes it unavailable to all users. Course results will be retained and reports available via the "Archived tab".      

Only courses where no users have begun their training can be set to inactive. These courses have no associated learner results. If you need help setting courses with existing activity to inactive, please submit your ticket here.


  1. Click the Course Library tab in the side menu.
  2. Click My Courses on the tab bar, then select Unused to show your unused courses.
  3. Find the course by filtering, see How to use filtering to find a course. 
  4. Click the check box on a course card to select individual courses or click Select all on the Action bar to select all courses.
  5. Click Set selected courses as Inactive on the Action bar.
