Recommended alternative to deleting a user
If a user is no longer required to enrol on courses or complete assessments BUT has training results and certificates in their account, we recommend setting this inactive instead of deleting.
This means you will be able to access their certificates should users need copies in the future.
As an employer, you have an obligation to retain employee training records. Industry recommendations state a retention period of 6 years after an employee leave date.
How to delete a user
NB: Deleting a user is a non-reversible action, and any associated data/results/certificates will also be permanently deleted.
