No. This method applies one action to everyone you select. To make mixed changes in one go, use the spreadsheet method. See How do I update enrolments in bulk using a spreadsheet?
Overview
You can enrol or unenrol a whole group of users in one action from the Enrolment area. This is the quickest way to apply the same change to lots of users at once.
This method applies one action to everyone you select — either enrol, or unenrol. To make different changes for different users at the same time (some enrolled, some unenrolled), see How do I update enrolments in bulk using a spreadsheet? To change a single user's enrolments, see How do I update an individual user's enrolments?
Step-by-step instructions
Click Enrolment in the menu.
Use the search and filters (Segments, Statuses, Profiles) to find the users or groups whose enrolments you want to update.
Select the users you want by ticking the checkboxes on the left.
In the Action bar, choose:
Enrol in courses to enrol the selected users OR
Unenrol from courses to unenrol the selected users.
In the course list, search for and select the courses you want. Everyone you've selected will be enrolled/unenrolled on them, depending on your chosen action.
Click Review Enrolment.
Check the list of users and courses. Once you're happy, click Confirm Enrolment.
If any selected users are already on a chosen course, nothing changes for them — their existing progress isn't affected, they don't get any communication. The system just skips them.
Note: Tick Show all courses to also see courses the user is auto-enrolled or smart-enrolled on. These enrolments (set at account or segment level) can't be toggled off here — to change one, update it on the course settings page.
