A sign-in method of an existing user can be changed. However, an admin can only change the sign-in method from "username" to "email" sign-in.


Note: an admin can change the sign-in method from "no email" to "has email" ONLY.

To change the sign-in method from "has email" to "no email", please submit a support ticket.

  1. Go to your Admin Atlas page.
  2. Click Users in the left-side menu to open the Users page.
  3. Use the search bar to find the user whose sign-in method you want to edit.
  4. Click the three-dot menu {…} at the end of the user's row and select View/Edit User.
  5. In the new window, scroll down to the Atlas access section.
  6. Change the sign-in method
    •  from "no email" to "has email": toggle Has email to "Yes" and enter the user's email address. 
    • from "has email" to "no email": can only be performed by the iHasco support team, please submit a support ticket.
  7. Click Save details to update the user profile with the new sign-in method.
  8. Once saved, the user will immediately receive an automated email with a login link.

1. I can't change a user's sign in method from "has email" to "no email", what should I do?

Admins are only allowed to change a sign-in method from "no email" to "has email" (i.e. from username based to email based). If you need to change the sign-in method from "has email" to "no email," please submit a support ticket.

2. I get "Email/username is already in use" error, but I don’t see a user with these credentials in our system. What should I do?
