How to delete (archive) a user

It’s not possible to permanently delete a user from the system. Instead, the user can be archived. Archiving keeps their records secure and allows you to restore their profile and training history if needed in the future.

As an employer, you have an obligation to retain employee training records. Industry recommendations state a retention period of 6 years after an employee leave date.


How to archive a user


A step-by-step guide (text)


  1. Go to your Admin Atlas page.
  2. Click Users from the left-side menu to open the Users page.
  3. Use the search bar to find the user you want to delete.
  4. Click the three-dot button {…} on the right side of that user’s row.
  5. Select View/Edit User Details.
  6. Click Archive User in the top-right corner.
  7. Click OK to confirm.
